I’ve loved dogs since I was six years old, and they have been a constant part of my life ever since. I’ve always had Westies, and today I am owned by a Westiepoo called Marge.

My early professional background includes a BA in Music and a Bachelor of Education, and I spent many rewarding years working as a primary school teacher and senior leader; a job I loved.
I’ve often been described as ‘dog mad’, and I always knew that one day I wanted to work with dogs. A life-changing illness gave me the opportunity to follow that passion and find a new path with Galen Myotherapy.

I studied for the Galen Myotherapy Diploma and have now been a Galen Myotherapist for 11 years. I am also part of the Tutor and IQA Team and it has been great to get back to teaching again but this time with adults! I love working with every dog I treat, but my particular passion lies in Galen Myotherapy’s choice-led, consent-based treatment approach, Positive PACT® . While it is a privilege to work with all dogs, helping anxious, nervous, and touch-averse dogs feel safe and supported is especially meaningful to me. How lucky am I to do a job I genuinely love!
