I have worked as a teacher and in senior management in school for most of my working life. I love working with young children and continue to do so today but in the role of a tutor and music teacher. I have always had dogs in my life and I am the proud owner of three crazy westies! My family and friends call me ‘dog mad’ and deep down, I have always dreamt of working with lots of dogs. A few years ago, I fell ill and was hospitalised for a long time. On leaving hospital, I decided that it was time to do the things I have always wanted to do and that I am excited by. I set up a dog walking and dog boarding company but also wanted to challenge myself and learn a new skill. After a conversation with a friend, I decided to do some research and it was then that I found out about Galen Canine Myotherapy ©. I visited, observed a couple of treatments and was certain that this was what I wanted to do. I enrolled to study to become a practitioner which was the best move I have made. I loved studying again and very quickly became really passionate about the huge difference that Galen
Canine Myotherapy © can make to the lives of dogs. I have worked on various dogs for over six months now and continue to learn something new from each and every one of them. I feel truly
privileged to be able to help these dogs to thrive and live a better quality of life.
